Instructions


In a medium bowl, combine the ground pork, onion, carrots, garlic, black pepper, cumin, soy sauce and cooking oil. Mix well until combined.


Take one lumpia wrapper and spoon about a tablespoon of the pork mixture in the center. Fold the wrapper in half and seal the edges. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and pork mixture.


In a large skillet, heat enough cooking oil to cover the bottom of the pan. Gently place the lumpia in the pan and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove from the pan and set aside.


To make the dipping sauce, combine the ketchup, soy sauce, sugar, garlic powder, black pepper and water in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Serve with the cooked lumpia.
