3. Add the turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, and red chilli powder. Sauté the spices for a few minutes.

4. Add the kala chana and salt to taste. Sauté for a few minutes, then add the water. Cover the pan with a lid and let the kala chana cook until it is tender.

5. Once the kala chana is cooked, remove the lid and let the excess water evaporate. Add the chopped coriander leaves and mix the ingredients together.

6. Serve the kala chana hot with roti or rice.
