Instructions
1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and bacon, and cook until the beef is browned and the bacon is crisp. Drain off any excess fat.
2. Transfer the beef and bacon to a slow cooker. Add the onion and garlic, and stir to combine.
3. Add the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, black beans, tomato paste, chili powder, cumin, oregano, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours.
