Ingredients

For the meatballs:

• 1 lb ground beef

• 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

• 1/4 cup finely chopped onion

• 1 egg

• 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

• Salt and pepper to taste


For the sauce:

• 1/2 cup ketchup

• 1/4 cup brown sugar

• 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

• 2 cloves garlic, minced

• 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

• Salt and pepper to taste

• 1/4 cup water

• 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

1. In a medium bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are incorporated. Form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs. Set aside.

2. In the pressure cooker, combine the ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Mix until combined. Add the water and stir in the cornstarch until it is completely dissolved.

3. Place the meatballs in the sauce and stir to coat. Close and lock the lid of the pressure cooker. Set the pressure release valve to sealed. Select the meat/stew setting and set the timer for 10 minutes.

4. When the timer is finished, carefully release the pressure. Unlock the lid and stir the meatballs. Serve with your favorite sides.

Notes
