1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onions and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic, ginger, cumin, coriander, turmeric, garam masala, chili powder, pepper and salt. Cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

2. Add the ground lamb and cook, breaking up the meat with a spoon until it’s cooked through, about 5 minutes. Add the tomatoes and cook for another 2 minutes.

3. Transfer the mixture to a slow cooker. Add the frozen peas and stir to combine. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.

4. When the Keema is done, stir in the fresh cilantro. Serve with rice or naan bread.
