Ingredients

1 pound Johnsonville pork sausage, cut into small pieces

1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed

1 tablespoon chili powder

1 teaspoon cumin

1 teaspoon oregano

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro, for garnish

1/4 cup sour cream, for garnish

Instructions

1. In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Remove from heat and set aside.

2. Place the cooked sausage, onion, garlic, bell peppers, diced tomatoes, beans, chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper in a slow cooker and stir to combine.

3. Cover and cook on low heat for 6-8 hours, stirring occasionally.
